The pot is the aggregate of all bets made by all players in one deal. The highest hand wins the pot. The best natural hand is a straight flush. A straight flush consists of five cards in the same suit. A straight flush can be high or low. It is also known as the Royal Flush.
If two or more players have the same straight, it may break a tie. If two players have a straight flush with the same value, the pot will split. A high card may also break a tie when there are two high hands of the same type. Similarly, a pair of kings may break a tie if another player has a pair of kings.
The highest card of the hand is called the “high card.” This may be high or low, depending on the game. The best straight is a 5 card straight. Likewise, the best straight flush is a 5 card flush.
The best three of a kind is three kings. The joker is a fifth card in certain special hands. The Royal Flush is a high straight flush. If two players have the same hand of three kings, the highest card is the joker. The joker also breaks a tie if two players have three of a kind of the same rank. The joker can take any suit.
A straight flush ace may be high or low, depending on the player. If two players have a straight flush, the straight flush ace may break a tie if one player has a high straight flush and the other player has a low straight flush.
A pair of kings is not too bad of a deal. But if there are other players in the pot, a pair of kings may not be very good. The best hand is a three of a kind. If two or more players have three of a kind, the highest card is the highest three of a kind.
A pair of kings might be the best hand of the hand, but it is not the best hand in the whole deal. The best natural hand is a straight, which is five cards in the same suit. A straight can be high or low, but a straight flush may not wrap around.
A five card draw is one of the most common poker hands. When a five card draw is made, the player may discard up to four cards. If the last card is a wild card, the player can discard up to four cards. If there are no wild cards, the player can discard one or two cards. The player is also allowed to bluff. When a player bluffs, he or she may win the pot.
